Lantmännen recalls FINN CRISP Multigrain 250g and FINN CRISP Sesame 250g because quality control has shown that sesame seeds used as a topping may contain ethylene oxide residues.
The use of ethylene oxide as a component in plant protection products is prohibited in the field of food production in accordance with EU standards.
The recall applies only to the following products:
- Finn Crisp Multigrain 250g with an expiration dates of 24.01.2021 and 01.04.2021.
- Finn Crisp Sesame 250g with an expiration date of 27.01.2021
The sale of the relevant product has been suspended with all distributors.
Consumption of this product does not pose a direct health risk, but the product should not be used.
